Time running out for cheque guarantee cards

Did you know that the cheque guarantee card scheme will end on the 30th of June 2011?
It is still possible to pay and be paid by cheque, but, after that date they will no longer be guaranteed.  Cheques will be removed from the banking system by 31st October 2018.  Businesses that currently rely on this form of paying and taking payment should start assessing alternative options now.
