Welcome to RLW Accountants. The practice is run by Ruth Whiting a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant and Chartered Accountant.

I have lived and worked in Shropshire all my life so I am well placed to advise established and new businesses in the area with an understanding of some of the challenges particular to the area. Having worked in the profession for eighteen years, I first qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1999. In 2000 I decided to work for a large national charity which was a great experience after four years however I decided that I missed the client contact and applied for a manager role in a local practice where I progressed to Associate in 2009, however following the birth of my daughter I wanted to be more flexible but still use my skills to serve local business so I started RLW Accountants. I have also completed the Diploma in charity accounting and was the 112^th person in the country to be awarded it. It was a great achievement and a great way to show my through understanding of the charity sector. Finally I used the pathways route to become a Chartered Accountant in 2009.

I pride myself on being very professional and like to think that my clients will receive an excellent personal service whether they are an individual with a tax return, a business which requires Sage support, accounts and tax returns or a charity which wants some guidance and support as well as the annual accounts and charity commission returns completing.
