A P Robinson & Co were once again joined by Gosschalks Solicitors to bring their clients and local businesses up to date with changes and developments within Employment Law which came into effect on 6^th April 2009.

At Forest Pines Hotel in Broughton on 23^rd March, the experienced solicitors from the Hull-based firm gave important advice on new legislation and upcoming changes in the law, recent cases which have changed the law, and other issues significant to employers.

The hour-long informal update, which was well attended by business across Lincolnshire, provided practical advice for real-life situations. The topics covered included new legislation to be introduced in April 2009 regarding Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures and the new role of ACAS, recent cases on Long-term Sick Leave, Resignations, and Dismissals, how not to complete a Redundancy Process, and a focus on Flexible Working.
