Halifax

The Minster town of Halifax is mentioned in the Domesday book but can trace its origins back to 1091. It is situated in West Yorkshire and was a busy industrial town, producing wool, carpets, tools and beer. More recently, it has become famous for being home to the Headquarters of the Halifax Bank.
