Paisley

Paisley is the largest historical town in Scotland popularly known for its remarkable Abbey and St Mirren Cathedral.

Paisley's historical industries in weaving led to the name "paisley" after the pattern. In 1993, Paisley's mills closed down and turned into a museum to cater for the growing tourist industry.

In the 21st century Paisley still accommodates national and international trade which plays a key part in the maintenance of the economy.
